Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced that the positive outcome of the referendum (on the transition to the presidential system) has been achieved despite the resistance of "those who hold the doctrine of the Crusaders."
"We have fought against all the enemies," Erdogan said in a speech to his supporters at Ankara airport after returning from Istanbul: "All those who attacked us held onto the views of the Crusaders, but we held us as a nation.
Erdogan stressed that Turkey will become stronger when it moves to the presidential system in November 2019.
It should be noted that the results of sorting the initial forms indicate that supporters of the transition to the presidential regime in Turkey by 51.4%. The final results of the vote will be announced after 11-12 days after consideration of the appeal submitted by the opposition, which announced violations during the implementation of the referendum, including the decision of the Supreme Elections Committee to consider the ballot forms and sealed envelopes valid.
