    U.S. Boeing Company announced on Tuesday, for delivery of the aircraft, the next generation (800-737) for Iraqi Airways, indicating that this aircraft is the first of 30 aircraft had been requested by Iraqi Airways in 2008.

"

    The Iraqi Airways announced on Tuesday (January 29, 2013), its contract to buy 40 aircraft type Bowen 737 and Boeing Dreamliner 787 in addition to two Aabertin intercontinental-made Airbus European, while The Ministry of Transport stated that Iraqi Airways will operate flights lines additional to many countries of the world.

    The Ministry of Transport launched assurances in (11/16/2012) that Iraqi Airways began to recover after the overthrow of Kuwaiti debt for.

    The Kuwaiti National Assembly approved, in (the 22 of January 2013), the great majority of the Convention on the liquidation of debts of Iraqi Airways, stressing that the Council referred the decree Convention Act to the government for ratification.

    Iraq has signed in May 2008 the first two decades with the company (Boeing) to buy 40 U.S. aircraft, and the second with Inc. (Bompardo) Canadian, to buy ten aircraft, while the Ministry of Finance showed that the total value of the two contracts amounted to five billion dollars.
