US-backed forces in Syria have seized control of the last bastions of the town of Brife in the western province of Raqqa, northeast of Syria, after weeks of clashes with terrorists, activists said on Thursday.
The opposition Shamm news network quoted activists from al-Raqqa as saying that a supporter had withdrawn from neighborhoods he controls in the class city under an agreement with Syria's US-backed democracy forces, which are made up of Arab and Kurdish fighters.
The activists pointed out that the agreement provides for the withdrawal of an individual armed with the siege after the siege in several neighborhoods and the area of the dam, thus making full control of the Syrian democratic forces in the city and its surroundings.
The city of the class witnessed fierce battles between Damascus and Syria's democratic forces coincided with heavy aerial bombardment of the international coalition aircraft.
There has also been a massive displacement of hundreds of thousands of civilians towards the countryside as their suffering has increased in the areas they fled to escape the fighting and shelling.
