Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that his US counterpart, Donald Trump's decision to increase arming units to protect the Kurdish people in Syria to fight Daesh hurt the strategic relations between the two countries.

Erdogan said at a news conference in Ankara today that he expects to discuss and resolve the outstanding issue between the two countries regarding the arming of the Kurds in Syria widely during his upcoming visit to Washington next week.

The decision Trump has been heavily criticized by Turkey, which units to protect the people of the Kurdish is an extension of the PKK prepared by a "terrorist", where through Turkish Prime Minister Ben Ali Yildirim expressed his country's rejection of this process of armament, as Turkish Foreign Minister born Jawish Ihsanoglu said that armament process will constitute a threat to Turkey.

While the United States believes that the arming of Kurdish fighters is the only way to expel Daesh of tenderness, the largest stronghold in Syria, as well, Washington believes that the democratic forces of Syria, which constitute units to protect the people as its backbone, are the most effective in Syria against the elements Daesh ally.
