He added that the local government is making great efforts to accelerate the implementation of this project, will provide adequate housing as a large number of families in the province, pointing out that despite the obstacles and problems encountered in the project , but the local government insisted on going to implement it .
He said that the province of Dhi Qar is seeking to implement projects that affect the lives of citizens and promote the industrial, tourism and agricultural sectors, pointing out that it is working to provide services in full and increase fiscal revenue for the province.
In terms of the agricultural sector to maintain, he said the first deputy governor of Dhi Qar , just Aldechala "morning", said the Ministry of Agriculture approved the request of the High Agricultural Committee in the province to increase the cultivated area planted with rice from three to four thousand acres as important strategic crops, indicating the province is keen to provide farm supplies to enable them to achieve a high rate of production.
He added that the improvement in imports of the Euphrates River , pushing the ministry to approve the increase of land within an area within the agricultural plan, has also helped to create most of the land before planting season, revealing at the same time , the presence of
increasing agricultural production rates over the past two seasons as a result of the great attention given Agricultural Committee in the province to the farmers directly through the delivery of their claims to the Ministry of Agriculture , substantially contributed to the development of agricultural work and the expansion of the cultivation of rice.
The Ministry of Agriculture confirmed that in 2012, the country will become a source of strategic crops over the next five years after the completion of the projects implemented by including modern irrigation techniques, but the entry of "Daesh" gangs, some areas hampered the implementation of those projects.
