Shafaq News/ The Integrity Commission announced on Monday that it has begun investigating the audio recording attributed to the head of the Advisory Board in the Prime Minister's Office, Abdul Karim Al-Faisal.
The commission stated in a statement received by Shafaq News Agency, "We have begun, under the direction of Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani, and in cooperation and coordination with the judge of the Central Criminal Court for Combating Corruption, investigating the audio recording attributed to the head of the Advisory Board in the Prime Minister's Office."
On Friday, November 8, 2024, Abdul Karim Al-Faisal, Chairman of the Advisory Board at the Council of Ministers, denied what was circulated by some social media and “yellow pages” regarding a “fabricated” audio leak.
The office of Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani issued a clarification regarding the “involvement” of the chief adviser in bribery and attacked critics, describing it as “fabricated lies.”
