Israeli occupation forces, on Monday evening, set up a roadblock at all entrances to the city of Hebron, and conducted searches of vehicles entering and exiting from the "Hebron", south of the West Bank.
Israeli soldiers also worked on checking the identities of Palestinian citizens, where barriers centered on the northern and southern entrance of the city, and erected the Israeli entity forces, as well as modern surveillance cameras in most areas of the West Bank.
In this context, said a spokesman for the entity's army "Ovijaa Odraei:" The move was to enhance security and control the movement of transport, roads and streets of the West Bank.
He claimed the military commander of the Zionist official through his page on "Facebook", it has been installed these cameras in order to maintain security and thwart sabotage attacks, adding: keep calm common interest.
This works on the Tel Aviv settlement support recently, with data published by the Central Bureau of Statistics in the Israeli entity on Monday evening showed that the number of new housing units in the occupied West Bank settlements increased by 70% in the year.
And launched between April 2016 and March 2017 to build houses in the 2758 West Bank settlements in exchange for the work of the 1619 dwellings built commenced in the previous year, these figures do not include the housing units in the settlement of occupied East Jerusalem.
For its part, expressed the "Peace Now" Israeli non-governmental regret that the Israeli government rather than working to solve the housing crisis in Israel, it gives preference to a minority living outside Israel's borders.
