France will proceed to close nuclear reactors

Minister of Environmental Transformation French, Nicolas Hulu, said that his country had shut down 17 nuclear reactors by 2025, in deference to the law of energy transformation, which aims to reduce the contribution of nuclear energy in electricity production.
The French minister said in an interview with radio "RTL": "Everyone knows that in order to achieve this goal, we will close a number of nuclear reactors," ... "Each reactor has an economic and social situation and even the security of its own" ... "We are planning to move to energy production more versatile. "
He noted Hulu speaking to French radio to the decision of the new Prime Minister of France, Philippe Edouard, which is to stick to the previous government with the aim of reducing the contribution of nuclear power plants in the needs of the country's electricity to half instead of 75% at the present time.
