Al-Ahrar: All laws enacted after 2003 need to be amended

BAGHDAD (Reuters) - The Liberal Democratic Party said on Thursday that all laws that began after 2003 need amendments, noting that it has distinguished and granted privileges to certain segments without others.
"Most of the laws adopted after 2003 have distinguished between the segments of society and granted privileges to one segment," MP Majida al-Tamimi said in a statement received by al-Baghdadiya News.
He added that "there is a need to re-draft the laws adopted after 2003, which reflects positively on the Iraqi people and reduce the burden on the state treasury, which needs an integrated work between the government and the House of Representatives," calling on the government to " The House of Representatives to redraft its paragraphs "
