BAGHDAD - A document from the Speaker of the House of Representatives to the head of the General Retirement Authority demands that he cancel the decision of the Council of Ministers to cancel the pension for members of the House of Representatives and ministers and former members of the National Assembly.
According to the document, "based on what was approved by the House of Representatives in its session held No. 30 of 2016 as well as Federal Court decision 29 / Federal 2017 on 25 May 2017, the decisions of the House of Representatives have the same legal force of the laws and decisions of the Federal Court is binding on all authorities."
The document included "a requirement to stop the adoption of Resolution No. 333 of 2015 regarding the pension of members of the former House of Representatives as well as members of the National Assembly and former ministers." Finished
