Angolan company Sonancol is ready to start work in the fields of Qayara and Al Najma
Angola's Sonancol CEO Edison Santos confirmed Wednesday the company's willingness to start work in the Qayara and Al-Najma fields in Nineveh province.
"Oil Minister Jabbar Ali Al-Liibi met with the executive director of Angancol Anguson Edison Santos and his accompanying delegation. During the meeting, they discussed means of enhancing bilateral cooperation," the ministry said in a press release.
He stressed that "the ministry is working to provide all facilities for oil companies operating in Iraq and create a suitable environment for work," and called Sonankol company "the need to resume work in the fields of Qayara and Najma."

It is noteworthy that the company Sonancol Angolan withdrew from work in the fields of Qayyarah and star after the occupation of a calling for the province of Nineveh, and the government began negotiations with the company to resume work after the start of the battle for the liberation of Nineveh in October last year.
