Al-Tanf is depriving thousands of Syrians of aid
The Syrian Reconciliation Center in Syria announced Friday that tens of thousands of displaced Syrians are denied humanitarian aid because of the illegal establishment of the al-Tanf base in Syria.
"The most difficult humanitarian situation is in Tanf," the center said in a statement. "Because of America, which has illegally deployed a military base and threatened to open fire on anyone approaching it for less than 55 kilometers, tens of thousands of displaced Syrians in the camp are deprived of access to humanitarian aid." According to Sputnik.
"The displaced Syrians who managed to leave the Al-Tanf area in Syria confirm the disastrous humanitarian situation in Al-Rikban camp," the statement said.
The statement pointed out that "near al-Rikban, American advisers set up a camp, where the gunmen come from the eastern Kalamoon and the area of the villages and the Syrian desert."
