The International Energy Agency (IEA) forecast on Tuesday that world oil demand will rise by 2040 by 12 percent to 104.9 million bpd.
"Demand for oil in 2025 will rise to 2.1 million bpd," the report said. "The decline in demand for oil in the long term in the country with advanced economies will be offset by demand growth in the countries of the Asia-Pacific region."
"By 2040 oil production in Russia could drop by about 24 percent to 8.6 million bpd, and the growth of gas production in Russia could rise by 2040 by 22.4 percent to 788 billion cubic meters," the report said.
He pointed out that "oil prices will rise by 2025 to 83 US dollars per barrel, and in 2040 could reach 111 dollars per barrel." Ending / 25 g
