Indonesia's disaster reduction agency said on Monday it had raised its alert level to the highest level due to the volcano of Mount Agung on the island of Bali.
"All those living within a radius of between 8 and 10 kilometers around the volcano should leave immediately," Sputnik quoted the agency as saying.
"There is an upsurge in ashes and smoke and occasional explosions from 12 kilometers from the top of the mountain, while flames were seen overnight, indicating the possibility of a volcano eruption at any time," she said.
"In anticipation of any possibility and the impending danger of the disaster, the epicenter of the reduction of volcanic and geological disasters has raised the level of preparedness from Mount Agung from level three to level four," she said. Ending / 25 z
