The Afghan parliament on Saturday called on the government to "suspend" its relations with the United States until US President Donald Trump rescinds the decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
The demands of the Afghan parliament came at a public meeting on Tuesday, local TV channel "Talwa News" reported.
At the beginning of the meeting, Speaker of the House of Representatives (First Chamber of the Afghan Parliament), Abdul Raouf Ibrahimi: "The US president's decision increases the intensity of the interactions in the region and the world."
"The Afghan government must confront this violent and inhumane decision against Islam by suspending its diplomatic and commercial relations with them until it is abolished," MP Abdul Gayoom Sajadi said. Finished
