    Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi renewed his commitment to transfer the powers to the provinces during a visit to the city of Najaf during which he met with deputies and members of the provincial council. 
    The Prime Minister referred to attempts to create a state of intersection and clash between the army and the popular crowd, stressing that "those endeavors have failed." The Prime Minister arrived Sunday morning, to the city of Najaf to attend a ceremony held on the occasion of the victory on the organization of a supporter. 
    A statement issued by the Prime Minister's office said that the latter held a meeting with the deputies, governors and members of the Najaf Provincial Council and discussed during the meeting the reality of the province and ways to improve its service and urban reality. 
    The deputies, governors and members of the provincial council presented a set of "obstacles hindering the implementation of several projects that serve the citizen Najafi in the areas of security and services, health, water, agriculture and investment and fighting corruption and other sectors."
    Abadi stressed, according to the statement, "the importance of providing services to the people of Najaf and upgrading, and that officials in Najaf, the utmost effort to serve and maintain the province," noting that "despite the financial crisis and weak revenues have achieved victories and has been reform." He renewed "his commitment to transfer powers to the provinces." 
    "The government will not be able to provide services with the presence of corrupt people," Abbadi said in a speech during a ceremony marking the victory announcement. 
    "We should not forget the sacrifices of the Iraqis and take advantage of this harsh lesson. We must start reconstruction and construction, and the official should be responsible for serving the people," he said, adding that "the war has drained much of the country's budget."
    "We have won the attempts to secede and deal with Iraqis in the same degree and we do not differentiate between them, and the officials should deal with the Iraqis so, especially that the fairness of all the basis of success and victory." 
    In another aspect of his speech, the Prime Minister stressed that "we should not differentiate between the types of security forces, some tried to raise the army against the crowd, but failed, these are all regular forces and follow the command of the General Command of the armed forces." 
    He added that "today we have achieved victory and we should not forget the sacrifices of Iraqis and benefit from this harsh lesson, and we must start reconstruction and construction," stressing that "some demand the provision of services immediately, but we will not be able to provide the presence of corrupt."
