The leader of the coalition of state law, Saad al-Mutlaibi, on Thursday, the exit of some of the leaders of the Dawa Party to contest the election with Haider Abadi, after the latter submitted an application to join the Fatah alliance.
"The Prime Minister Haider Abadi decided not to run in the elections with a coalition of state law and submitted an application to join the Fatah Alliance to contest the elections."
He added that "some of the leaders of the Dawa Party came out of the rule of law and urged Abadi to contest the election alongside him," noting that "Abadi did not submit any request to withdraw the Dawa Party from the coalition of the rule of law did not resign from him."
He stressed that "his resignation from the Dawa Party depends on the law that may allow him to enter into another alliance or not allowed," pointing out that "a coalition of state law will run the election under the chairmanship of Nuri al-Maliki and includes the movement Bshayr and the party advocates and the civil party and the center."
It is noteworthy that the map of alliances before the elections was not completed, especially with the end of the period announced by the Commission to provide alliances and political entities that will run the elections.
