Tens of thousands of US citizens marched on the streets of Washington on Saturday to protest against abortions.
Demonstrators in the march called "The March of Life" held anti-abortion banners and went to the Congress building.
Protesters demanded that members of the Legislative Council enact laws criminalizing abortion in the United States.
This coincided with the hosting of US President Donald Trump, the White House anti-abortion.
Trump, according to US media, expressed his support and stand against the anti-abortionists in their "struggle".
"The United States of America has a head against abortion," said US Vice President Mike Pines, speaking in a speech against an abortion march a week after Trump took office.
Abortion is one of the most contentious issues between Republicans and Democrats in America, and its opponents are calling for laws to be criminalized, especially after Trump arrives at the White House.
It should be noted that the United States has seen since the beginning of this year 45 marches demanding the criminalization of abortion
