Iraqi Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi said on Tuesday that the province of Kirkuk as a "city for peaceful coexistence," he said.
"The city of Kirkuk will remain a city for peaceful coexistence," Abadi said during the weekly press conference, noting that "the government is keen on the security of the city."
"Work is under way to hold fair elections in the liberated areas," he said.
"There is cooperation with Interpol on the cross-border transfer of criminals and money," Abbadi said.
