Vice President of the Parliamentary Foreign Relations Committee Mohammad al-Abed Rabbo Thursday overtook the "Huthi group" on the land of the Iraqi embassy in Sanaa, according to a Yemeni government statement describing it as "barbaric and terrorist behavior".
Al-Abed Rabbo said in an interview with "Baghdad Post" that there is a law and international agreements governing the relationship between countries and that the Huthis attack on the Iraqi embassy in Yemen represents a blatant and direct aggression on Iraq, indicating that the land of the embassy is considered taboo and international law prohibits attacks on any embassy or mission It is chaos and disrespect for international laws.
He added that the Houthi group is one of the terrorist organizations, which is barbaric and does not understand the international relations, pointing out that even if there are differences within Yemen, the Iraqi embassy should be respected.
He said that the Iraqi government is supposed to sever its relations with these people. It used to receive people from this group and it has to support the Yemeni government and demand that it restore the Iraqi embassy and also raise a case against the Houthis in the UN Security Council and the United Nations.
