The British government on Saturday expressed "strong" support for improving relations between Iraq and Saudi Arabia, including the reopening of border crossings.
"Britain and Saudi Arabia congratulated the Iraqi government for the progress and success it has achieved against Da'ash," said a joint Saudi-British statement at the end of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman's visit to London.
The United Kingdom, according to the statement, "its strong support for the improvement of relations between Saudi Arabia and Iraq, including the reopening of border crossings and commercial routes and resume direct flights and support the reconstruction of Iraq." Ending / 25
