    Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi said on Friday that the government is working to overcome the obstacles and facilitate the procedures on the receivables of contractors in the state, noting that his government has taken decisions in favor of contractors with the intensification of the financial crisis and war expenses for their keenness to continue their work.
    "The Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi met this evening with the members of the Iraqi Contractors Union and listened to the difficulties facing the work of the group of contractors and speeding up the procedures for obtaining their rights and the plans of the Union for the advancement of the private sector," the Information Office of Abadi said in a statement.
     
    "We have taken decisions in favor of contractors as the financial crisis and war expenses intensify, as we are keen to continue their work, which provides job opportunities for citizens and supports the economy of the country," Abbadi said.
    He added that "the circumstances experienced by the country was very difficult, even if the bands controlled by the terrorist on the country to become all the remaining things worthless, but we came out stronger and we work on the reconstruction and construction of the country," adding, "We appreciate the suffering of contractors and that the pressures are great because There are dues to them in the State and we work to overcome obstacles and facilitate the procedures in this regard and we need cooperation to resolve these problems. "
    "There are those who are leading a campaign against the private sector, which represents a large segment of the society, represented by mourning, carpentry, construction, shopkeepers and many others, and this campaign must be addressed against all these segments," Abbadi said.
