The Prime Minister, Haider al-Abadi, said on Tuesday that the projects of dividing Iraq are in full swing, complaining of the "big" financial burdens borne by his government since the liberation of regions and cities from the grip of the organization and so far.
"The projects to divide Iraq will not stop and we will talk like one of those projects," Abadi told a weekly press conference after his meeting with his government team.
He added that "the Iraqi government has borne a heavy financial burden since the start of liberalization until the end," pointing out that "we have different mechanisms to confront corruption and work to address the causes."
"We have set timetables to reduce the presence of foreign forces in Iraq," he said, adding that "any sort of flight to foreign air in the airspace of Iraq can only take place with official approval."
