[rtl]An Arab newspaper described the absence of Iraqi parliamentarians from the parliament as "strange situation" in the Arab countries.[/rtl]
[rtl]The newspaper Al-Arab London in a report published on Friday, that Iraq is witnessing a phenomenon described as strange in countries with parliamentary systems, but it is familiar with the approach of every general election.[/rtl]
[rtl]She explained that "the phenomenon, as described by Iraqis in a sarcastic and critical tone at the same time, is the evaporation of the House of Representatives months before the election dates, in reference to the interruption of meetings, because of the reluctance of deputies to attend and leave to their own affairs and empty candidates for the elections to run their campaigns. Which means the result of closing the door of legislation and abandon the supposed role in monitoring the work of the government. "[/rtl]
[rtl]She continued: "In practice, the Iraqi deputies began to disappear at a growing pace since the session of the adoption of the budget until the number of attended the session Wednesday 100 deputies out of a total of 328 deputies."[/rtl]
