The Japanese government has approved Prime Minister Haider Abadi's request to support the entry of Japanese companies to invest in Iraq by announcing a reduction in the level of security risk to facilitate the entry of Japanese in a number of provinces.
Abadi stressed during his meeting in Tokyo Thursday with Japanese counterpart Shinzo Abe, the stability of security in the country, and expressed his hope that the participation of Japanese companies in the reconstruction process in various fields, especially service and job creation.
The prime minister said in a statement that the Japanese official renewed his country's support for Iraq for its role in the Middle East and the fight against terrorism.
