    The economic aspects, after the political and security matters in terms of importance for countries, including Iraq, especially after being exposed to financial crisis as a result of lower oil prices, which depends on it mainly to support its budgets, which stressed the need to resort to activating other economic sectors and investment .
    In a remarkable development, trade moves between Iraq and Jordan have culminated in rapid official actions that contribute to enhancing the relationship between the two countries and benefiting both countries, whether in the field of investment or trade, and even exporting oil.
    On Saturday, the Minister of Transport, Kazem Al-Hamami, announced the approval of Baghdad and Amman to allow trucks to enter directly between the two countries. The announcement came days after the Secretary General of the Ministry of Transport, Anmar Al-Khasawneh, Iraqi Art Ardenia holds meetings and negotiations to discuss and resolve the obstacles of trade exchange, especially with regard to the file entry trucks directly between the two countries. 
    For his part, the head of the committee to follow up the export issues to Iraq of the Amman Chamber of Industry Hassan al-Samadi, last Saturday, the number of trucks that entered Iraq through the crossing of Trebil during the first quarter of this year, indicating that about 4,000 trucks loaded with goods worth about 80 million Dinar.
    The Jordanian Chamber of Industry announced on March 1 that the Iraqi authorities exempted a new list of 571 Jordanian products from customs duties imposed by 30% at the end of 2016 out of a list of 750 handed over by Jordan to Iraq. The exemption "wrong step," noting that "this step will work negatively on the Iraqi national product."
    Jordan announced on Sunday that it would ease obstacles to Iraqi investors in the kingdom by allowing Iraqi investors to invest in the kingdom by facilitating access to residency and citizenship.
    "The Jordanian government is determined to overcome any obstacles facing investors, especially the Iraqis," said Jordanian Minister of State for Investment Mohannad Shehadeh. "The Jordanian government has taken measures to enable Iraqi investors to invest in the kingdom and obtain residency and citizenship if they so desire."
    In this regard, the head of the Iraqi Business Council in Amman, Majid al-Saadi, said that the number of Iraqi businessmen in Jordan reached 30 thousand with the size of investment of 18 billion dollars.
    Cooperation between the two countries increased after the announcement by Iraq and Jordan in a joint statement that the border port of Trebil was reopened on August 30, 2017, and the resumption of passenger and truck transit resumed after Iraqi forces regained control of the main road between Baghdad and Amman.
    The port of Trebil was shut down completely in July 2015, which led to the suspension of trade between the two countries. 
    The Jordanian government announced on March 6 that it approved a project aimed at laying a pipeline for the export of Iraqi oil through the Kingdom to the port of Aqaba and to provide Jordan with part of the Its oil needs.
    The announcement of the Jordanian government, in implementation of the framework agreement signed with the Iraqi counterpart, on the ninth of February 2013 to extend the pipeline of a length of 1700 km to transport Iraqi crude oil from Rumaila field in the province of Basra to export ports in Aqaba, at a cost of about $ 18 billion, Daily.
    The agreement, which Jordan counted "strategically" Baghdad and Oman together, as Baghdad looks to increase its oil exports and diversify its outlets through this project, while Oman hopes that the pipeline will secure its oil needs of about 100 thousand barrels per day, and get 100 million cubic feet of gas Natural daily.
    In this context, the Jordanian Parliament Speaker Atef Tarawneh revealed on Sunday an initial date for the implementation of the pipeline project from Iraq to Egypt through Jordanian territory, stressing that "the project is under implementation, there are preliminary approvals from the Iraqi parliament and estimates of its cost and determine its course, "We are optimistic about the implementation of this pipeline in the near future."
    What is hidden is that the economic benefits have a great impact on the directions of the countries and their treatment among them, and the normalization of their positions and relations, which is prepared by analysts specialized Baba to develop relations and openness and reflection positively even on the general political relations, which contribute to the return of Iraq to the Arab environment and moisturize the atmosphere.

President Fuad Masoum also received the papers of the Jordanian ambassador on April 1. The president stressed the importance of enhancing economic cooperation through The joint committee between the two countries, and the development of various transport routes, especially the wild. "
    In a statement, Jordan announced its position on those wanted to Iraq. Jordanian Parliament Speaker Atef Al-Tarawneh said last Saturday that the kingdom would not "cover up" anyone who supports terrorism or is exposed to neighboring countries. In response to a question asked him about cooperation with Baghdad to hand over Raghad, the daughter of former President Saddam Hussein required there, after being named in a list published by the Iraqi government of 60 wanted.
    Al-Tarawneh said that Jordan is free from any Iraqi leadership, pointing out that Raghad is "hired" and "hosted in the Kingdom does not violate Jordanian law," stressing that "it did not depart from what is permitted under Jordanian law and did not engage in any political activity that harms Iraq from Jordanian territory ".
    He stressed that if Raghad was found guilty or otherwise, the Kingdom would not cover up and the Jordanian judiciary would be the one in charge.
