(Baghdad: Al-Furat News) denied the Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, what was addressed by some media and social networking sites on the existence of a defect in the "servers" central electronic counting and sorting in the Electoral Commission for the elections.
"The Secretariat, upon the directives of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers, is in contact with the Commission to secure any requirements from the government side, with the continued emphasis of the Prime Minister on ensuring transparent, proper and timely elections," the statement said.
"The Secretariat calls at the same time citizens and the media to the need to ensure the news circulating through the adoption of accurate information published on official government sites in order not to mislead citizens through incorrect information."
