Iraq .. allocated vacant spaces to establish projects for unemployed graduates
On Monday, the Ministry of Industry and Minerals issued official decrees instructing all its public companies and mixed sector companies to allocate the available vacant space for the purpose of exploiting them by unemployed graduates to establish small and medium-sized industrial projects.
The director of the media and public relations center in the ministry, Abdul Wahid Alwan Al-Shammari said in a statement that "based on the directives of the Minister of Industry and Minerals Agency Mohamed Shi'a Sudanese, instructed the Ministry and through the Investment Department to the associated formations and companies of the mixed sector to take the necessary measures on the possibility of allocating vacant space in their locations for the purpose of Exploited by unemployed graduates in the establishment of small and medium industrial projects and a simple rent in order to contribute to support this segment and eliminate unemployment and support the national economy.
The Ministry of Industry and Minerals, through the General Directorate for Industrial Development, continues its efforts to provide support and encourage young people to submit patents, establish small and medium-sized industrial projects and develop their capabilities and innovations to promote all sectors of the country, especially the industrial sector.
The Ministry of Labor said earlier that "there are about 150 thousand students graduating annually," indicating that "the unemployment rate among females about 27 percent compared to 37 percent for males."
