Amend the formation of the Industrial Coordination Council in Iraq

Baghdad / ... The Cabinet approved the proposal of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals on the amendment of the formation of the Industrial Coordination Council, chaired by the Minister of Industry and Minerals.
"The council will become a member of the ministries of finance, oil, electricity, commerce and industry in the Kurdistan Regional Government," said a statement issued by the Secretariat General of the Council of Ministers, the deputy head of the National Investment Commission, the deputy chief of army staff, The President of the Union of Iraqi Businessmen, the President of the Federation of Iraqi Industries, the President of the Federation of Iraqi Chambers of Commerce and an industrial economist. "
He pointed out that "the Council carries out the tasks specified in the industrial strategy in Iraq until the year / 2030".
He pointed out that "the decision of the Council comes in order to diversify the Iraqi economy and revitalize the national economy through the development of the industrial sector, according to the foundations take into account the need for a supportive environment for the sector and help serious steps towards activating its role and contribution to national output."
