(Baghdad: Euphrates News) Union of agricultural associations in general in Baghdad, on Thursday, the federal government against the backdrop of its silence towards Turkey, "slaughter" the Iraqi farmer, pointing out that agriculture in Iraq faces the risk of real death because of water scarcity.
"The Iraqi government is preoccupied with many issues that led to the stage of silence towards Turkey, which is slaughtering the Iraqi farmer," said the head of the Union Haider al-Amad in a press statement received by the agency {Euphrates News} a copy today that "the agriculture in Iraq faces the real risk of death because of water shortage".
He added that "the Federal Ministry of Water Resources bear full responsibility, having been engaged in negotiations stalled for more than three years with Turkey was unable to secure the share of water needed to maintain agriculture in the country."
He called on "all internal bodies to unite to support national agriculture and save them from the inevitable death and death."
