    Continue / ... the Federation of Agricultural Societies threatened, on Thursday, to cut off the roads leading to oil refineries and block their production if the agricultural calendar was not applied, calling on the government to be aware of the importance of working in the agricultural calendar.

    In a statement received by "Eye of Iraq News", Union President Haider Al-Asad said, "The agricultural crowds give the government, the concerned authorities, and relevant ministries until next Monday to work to activate the agricultural calendar, protect the local product, and control the border outlets located in the Kurdistan region," threatening to " Cutting roads leading to and from oil refineries in Basra Governorate by farmers if the agricultural calendar is not applied. "
     
    He added that "the government should be aware of the importance of working in the agricultural calendar and preventing the entry of illegally imported products, especially outlets that are located within the Kurdistan region," noting that "the threat to cut vital roads leading to oil refineries and completely paralyzing Basra Governorate movement is an expression of our complete rejection of this Practices aimed at destroying the Iraqi agricultural sector. "
     
    He stressed that "the Basra governorate's crop of tomato reached 5,000 thousand tons per day, which meets the need of the market in all governorates." Finished 2
