    The Association of Iraqi Private Banks concluded Tuesday with the participation of 44 graduate students from the Information College, which aims to prepare economic journalists who are able to deal with economic information and the news format.
    The ceremony was attended by the spokesman of the Central Bank of Iraq, Basem Abdul Hadi, and the editor of the newspaper Al-Sabah, Abbas Abboud.
    The Executive Director of the Association of Iraqi Private Banks, Ali Tariq, during the ceremony, which was attended by "Economy News", "The course of economic information aims to create a generation of young journalists working in the economy in order to enable relations between economic institutions and the media and the transfer of news properly without twist".
    Tarek pointed out that "there is a second phase of the session will be held after Eid al-Fitr attached to the financial concepts and methods of work of the Iraqi market for securities and the Central Bank and others."
    He pointed out that "there is a decision to approach private banks to employ these young journalists in their information offices, which aims to deliver banking services to the public."
    On the other hand, the Dean of the College of Information at the University of Baghdad, Hashim Hassan Tamimi, the role of the Association of Iraqi private banks in the development of the economic press, and banking in particular.
    "The Association of Private Banks has realized the importance of developing human resources through training courses for journalists and employees in the banking sector," he said.
    He pointed out that "the College of Information is able to increase cooperation with the Association of Iraqi private banks to develop the economic press through the holding of conferences concerned on the economic media."
    The editor of the newspaper "Sabah" official, Abbas Abboud, he pointed out that "Iraq suffers from weakness in the specialized media and specifically the economic media, so I salute the Association of Iraqi private banks on efforts to educate the media economically."
    "The Iraqi Private Banks Association is always seeking through its community initiatives to reverse the positive image of the role of the private sector." He pointed out that "Iraq is heading towards the development of the local economy, which requires increasing interest in the economic press to educate people about the importance of the work of economic sectors such as industry, "He said.
    "Media today has become the nerve of life and reflects a positive image of people's lives," Abboud said.
    "The Iraqi media suffers from weakness in the economic press and most journalists avoid writing on this side because they can not analyze the figures," said the spokesman of the Central Bank of Iraq, Brahimi. "There are few journalists who keep pace with economic developments, From giving an opinion on a particular economic issue. "
    Al-Brahimi pointed out that "the social media are now grappling with social networking sites in conveying the right information and creating awareness and economic culture."
