Secretary General of the Iraqi Council of Ministers Mehdi Alalak discussed with the Italian ambassador in Baghdad, power generation projects in Hilla and south of Baghdad approved by the Council of Ministers.[/rtl]
[rtl]During his meeting with the Italian Ambassador, Mehdi Al-Alak stressed the need to use clean fuel for natural gas plant plants which will support the power plants with dry gas to generate energy efficiently.[/rtl]
[rtl]"The project aims to reduce the amount of gas flared in the fields of Nasiriyah and Gharraf," al-Alak said in a statement received by Al-Tijah.[/rtl]
[rtl]The Italian ambassador pointed out that the project of Mosul Dam is an example of the excellent cooperation between the two sides, stressing the importance of continuing the Italian company TREVI work in the dam of Mosul, and keen to sign a maintenance contract for the second year, to complete the final rehabilitation work.[/rtl]
