{Politics: Al Furat News} Member of the Political Bureau of the Progress Party, Muhammad Akram Al Ghariri, revealed new political support for his candidate for the presidency of the House of Representatives.

Al-Ghariri said, during his hosting on the {Free Talk} program broadcast on Al-Furat satellite channel this evening, that: "The representatives of Progress and its allies are 55 representatives and are subject to increase," considering it "the opinion of the Sunni majority in nominating Mahmoud Al-Mashhadani for the presidency of parliament."
He revealed "a request was submitted to the framework forces for Salem Al-Issawi to withdraw from the nomination to resolve the issue, but he refused the matter."
According to Al-Ghariri's statement, "Azm and Al-Siyada failed to present their candidate for the position of Speaker of the House of Representatives, and the New Generation and the Patriotic Union with the entitlement of Progress."
