    The Faculty of Information at the University of Baghdad organized on Wednesday its first scientific conference titled "The Other in Communication Production" with local and international scientific participations.
    The conference began with the reading of the national anthem and the Holy Quran, and from this there was a minute of silence on the lives of the martyrs of Iraq.
    The Dean of the Faculty of Information, Hashim Hassan Al-Tamimi, said in his speech during the conference, which was attended by "Economy News", that "this international conference organized by the College of Information University of Baghdad aims to increase interaction with the other, and this is evident in the title."
    He added that many wars were caused by the lack of respect for the other opinion, which caused the deaths of many innocent people, pointing out that "the conference seeks contact solutions to reach peace and love of the other, and reveals to us his beauty, which we thought ugly."
    Al-Tamimi thanked the President of the Association of Iraqi Private Banks, Wadih Al-Hanalal, for his active contribution in supporting the Iraqi economy.

    The President of the University of Baghdad, Alaa Abdul Hussein, stressed that the importance of the conference lies in its handling of the problem of ego and the principle of dialogue that reaches the community because the latter is affected by what he sees and hears.
    He stressed the need for societies to build constructive dialogue and listen to the opinion and the other opinion and leave it to dialogues of conciliation, pointing out that the principle of dialogue exists since the Islamic era, relying on the principle of "Shura" based on the adoption of the other opinion.
    The president of the Association of Private Banks, Wadih al-Hanalal, said that the latter is "continuing to support the media and to create journalists working in the field of economic media." "There is no doubt that the media has a great influence on building societies through its role in creating and influencing public opinion, Which is addressed and revealed by issues in various fields, and this is becoming more important in developed countries as well as in countries that seek to develop their democratic structure and establish the foundations of citizenship and human rights principles.
    "We are betting on the role of the media in fighting corruption and corrupt people who harmed the country and the people, and the implementation of good governance, but by allowing the private sector to take its role in development, construction and investment, which will absorb unemployment and create the required jobs and achieve sound and comprehensive economic development."
    The conference witnessed the participation of 31 scientific papers, and concluded with a short film entitled "Concrete".
