Central sales are down to $ 157 million

BAGHDAD - Central bank sales of foreign currency fell Tuesday to 157.19 million dollars, compared to sales of 187.28 million dollars on Monday, 30.08 million dollars.
A statement by the bank received by "Iraq News", that "the exchange rate amounted to 1190 dinars per dollar, at the auction held with the participation of 29 banks, and one financial transfer company."
The statement added that "these sales are the results of the auction on Wednesday," explaining that "the total sales totaled 182.23 million dollars."
He added that "the volume of funds sold to strengthen banks' assets abroad amounted to 156.59 million dollars, while the total cash sold was estimated at 26.64 million dollars."
He explained that "the sale of amounts transferred to the accounts of banks abroad at the price of 1190 dinars per dollar, while the cash sale will be at the same price." Finished
