The national card reveals the fact that citizenship is suspended

The Directorate of the National Card denied on Friday reports that the Ministry of Interior intends to stop work on citizenship and Iraqi citizenship at the beginning of next year.
The directorate said in a statement that "the Directorate denies the statements attributed to its director, Major General Nashat Ibrahim al-Khafaji on the determination of the Ministry of the Interior to stop work nationality and Iraqi citizenship certificate early next year."
The Directorate confirmed that it "continues to work throughout the country's provinces to close the remaining departments and turn them into the electronic system, but did not specify any date to finish paperwork," calling at the same time, "all media to be careful and careful in dealing with such information and avoid misleading.
