    The 
    Arab countries have been delayed by the Democracy Index prepared by the Economist Intelligence Unit of the Economist Group, which publishes the famous magazine.
    Tunisia ranked first in the Arab world and 63rd globally on the index for 2018, followed by Morocco in 100th place, the last Arab country on the index, Syria ranked 166th, ranked second among the Arab countries in Saudi Arabia by 159 globally.
    Iraq ranked fifth in the Arab world and 114 in the world after Tunisia, Morocco, Lebanon and Palestine, and previously for Jordan, Kuwait, Algeria and Egypt.
    The most striking indicator in the index is that the Israeli occupying state was the first to be undisputed in the Middle East region, 30 on the world ranking, ie, before the first Arab Tunisia with 33 seats.
