The coalition of state law on Wednesday responded to the remarks of the charge d'affaires of the US Embassy on the question of MPs to military commanders on the importance of the US military presence in Iraq. He pointed out that the American presence in Iraq is aimed at striking the neighboring countries that supported Iraq in the war against terrorism.
"The American pressure on the deputies and the attempt to coax some parties will not work as the law will be passed to withdraw foreign troops from Iraq during the next legislative term," MP Abdul-Alah al-Naeli told Al-Maaloumah.
He added that "the parliament does not need to question the military commanders on the need for Iraq to the US military as it knows the extent of the possibility of Iraqi forces of all kinds to achieve victory over terrorism and the restoration of all the provinces."
"The American presence in Iraq aims to target the neighboring countries that supported Iraq in its war against terrorist groups and achieve victory," al-Na'ili said. Ending / 25 d
