The General Authority of Customs announced on Thursday the seizure of human medicines "contrary to the controls and instructions" at Baghdad International Airport.
The body said in a statement received by Alsumaria News a copy of it, "the customs authorities at Baghdad International Airport seized Thursday a shipment of human drugs in violation of controls and instructions."
She explained that "the shipment was the owner intends to enter through the arrival of travelers from Delhi without official approvals contrary to the instructions and controls in force, has taken the customs authority operating at the airport legal proceedings against them in accordance with the law."
The General Authority of Customs at the port of Baghdad International Airport continuously announces the seizure of prohibited items through the control of the movement of goods and passengers.
