The Iraqi oil marketing company (SOMO) announced on Wednesday that the Indian and Chinese oil companies were the most buying Iraqi oil during the month of January.
The company posted information on its website that "Indian companies were the most numerous among the other international companies buying Iraqi oil, with 8 out of 33 companies that bought oil last month."
The Iraqi company pointed out that "Chinese companies ranked second with 6 companies, followed by US companies by 4 companies."
"Then comes the British, Italian, Malaysian, Turkish, French, South Korean, Spanish, Russian and Greek companies."
