    Iranian President Hassan Rowhani described his visit to Iraq as a turning point in the relations between the two countries, expressing the hope that the consensus and decisions taken will be in the interest of their people. 

    "The visit included talks and understanding on a number of issues and trade matters, such as reducing or abolishing tariffs on certain goods, establishing industrial cities between the two countries, and in energy and facilitation," Rowhani said in a statement made upon his arrival at Tehran's Mehrabad airport after a three-day visit to Iraq. Granting commercial visas ".




    He described the role of the activists and traders as important for both sides, saying that "Iraq is the main station of Iranian exports in the world and the countries are bound by strong ties." 

    "The two countries have held talks on banking matters, adopted the national currency of the two countries in many exchanges and facilitated banking relations, and the two countries have reached good understandings on security and regional issues, and their views have been close to many important issues," he said. 

    He pointed to "strong ties between the two peoples," asserting that "the strength in the world can create a barrier and the conflict between the Iranian and Iraqi peoples." 

    "The need to develop bilateral relations in the future to tripartite and quadripartite parties and to discuss them with other countries that can play a role in these relations," Rouhani stressed.

    Rohani concluded the visit to Iraq, which is likely to be a turning point in relations and further consolidation in the future in the interests of the two peoples and the two countries.
