The "Fatah" alliance led by Badr General Secretary Hadi al-Amri on Friday expressed his strong rejection of statements published by the US embassy about the wealth of Iranian guide Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

The coalition said in a statement today that it "refuses to use diplomatic missions on Iraqi soil to harm any country or to abuse the religious authorities that the Iraqi people are not allowed to harm at all and this act is contrary to the norms and rules of diplomatic action."

The statement added that "the great violation of one of the religious references of the Iraqi people through the official website of the Embassy of the United States of America is a blatant transgression and is unacceptable," adding that "we demand to delete this offensive Post first and ask the Foreign Ministry to call the Acting Ambassador And handed him a strong protest note. "

The statement continued that "the Iraqi people retaliate in accordance with legal frameworks through political and diplomatic channels and popular events on this abuse is extreme."

The statement pointed out that "yesterday this intervention, which is called (Joy Hood) internal affairs of Iraq and direct accusations and orders without deterrent and today issued this abuse from the official site of the US embassy, which means that there is insistence of this person and the successor of the Zionist will suspicious to bypass the law and diplomatic norms and provoke feelings Iraqis and the tension between the relationship between Baghdad and Washington, demanding "the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as an undesirable person."

The US embassy in Baghdad also spoke about the size of the wealth of Iranian guide Ali Khamenei.

"Corruption pervades all the joints of the Iranian regime, starting from the top," said an embassy publication on its Facebook page.

"The property of the Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei alone is estimated at $ 200 billion, while many people are in poverty because of the dire economic situation that Iran has reached after 40 years of mullah rule."

The United States re-imposed sanctions on Iranian oil exports in November after US President Donald Trump withdrew from a nuclear deal signed between Iran and six world powers in 2015 aimed at curbing Tehran's nuclear program. But Washington initially allowed the eight largest importers of Iranian oil to continue importing on a limited scale for six months.

Iran's biggest buyers - China, India, South Korea, Japan, Turkey, Taiwan, Greece and Italy - have suspended import despite receiving exemptions.

China is the biggest buyer of Iranian oil and has criticized the re-imposition of US sanctions.

Before sanctions were reinstated, Iran was one of the top five exporters of OPEC, exporting almost four million bpd. Iranian exports fell to about 1 million barrels a day.
