    Deputy MP of the axis alliance Abdullah al-Kharbit said that the statements of the Bahraini Foreign Minister Khalid bin Ahmed Al-Khalifa against the leader of the Sadrist movement, Moqtada al-Sadr, "deliberate," pointing to the presence of "hawks" in the Gulf do not want to improve the relationship with Iraq. 
    "The Bahraini foreign minister's abuse of Mr. Moqtada al-Sadr was not justified," Kharbit said in televised remarks. "The foreign minister's statements against Mr. Sadr are well thought out," Kharbit said in televised remarks. 
    "Some hawks in the Gulf do not like the improvement of Iraq's relations with its Arab and Gulf bases," Kharbit said. "There are those in Saudi Arabia who did not like the rapprochement with Iraq."
