He added: "The new Iraqi governments after April 2003 paid great attention to the concepts of democracy and progress for all the Iraqi people, especially in this government, where we are working to consolidate the constitutional relationship between the center and the region and to consider the Constitution as the basic pillar to ensure Iraq's unity and sovereignty and maintain its security and safety.
"This relationship has been demonstrated by overcoming crises and grappling with the security challenges, which puts us on the road to deepening the coordination relationship between Baghdad and Erbil and moving towards a new phase of construction and reconstruction," he said.
"We in the federal government recognize the need for mutual commitments between the Center and the region and resolve all outstanding issues according to the Constitution and based on the table of dialogue and understanding.
He pointed out that "we wish the success of the conciliator to Najirvan Barzani and success in the performance of his duties to provide a service to the welfare of the citizens of the region."
