Barzani's headquarters denied this evening, Wednesday, rumors about messages sent by President Barzani to the leaders of the coordination framework regarding the political process in Iraq.
Barzani's headquarters said in a statement received by the National News Center, "A number of media outlets circulated reports claiming that President Barzani sent various messages to the leaders of the coordination framework regarding the political process in Iraq and the name of the prime minister's candidate in the next Iraqi government."
"We announce to all parties that this news is completely far from the truth and baseless," the statement said.
The statement added that any name or party does not constitute any importance for President Barzani as much as the importance of that lies in the implementation of the constitution and the program of the next government.
He said that the government program should be based on the three principles of partnership, balance and consensus.
