BAGHDAD: The parliamentary legal committee on Saturday called for an amendment to the percentage of votes counted in the local elections, noting that 60 percent is fragmented through the lack of proper calculation. "Parliament is required to amend the percentage of votes counted in the local elections," committee member Hussein al-Aqabi told a news briefing. He added that "60 percent is fragmented by not calculating the correct," noting that "the best solution is to follow the ratio of 1 in ten in the law of St. Lego."[/size]
