    [rtl]The Secretary-General of the Iraqi Council of Ministers Hamid al-Ghazi said on Wednesday that Iraq has reached the decisive stage in many of the files shared with Kuwait.[/rtl]
    [rtl]Al-Ghazi told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the talks held between the Iraqi and Kuwaiti ministers on the sidelines of Kuwait's Amir Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah's visit put the final touches to resolving several outstanding issues between Baghdad and Kuwait.[/rtl]
    [rtl]He explained that the work of the ministers from both sides in the meetings today was based on the agreements reached and discussions in 2018 and 2019.[/rtl]
    [rtl]He stressed that the meetings focused on bilateral trade and economy files and the development of border ports as well as energy files.[/rtl]
    [rtl]A number of Iraqi ministers, including foreign ministers, finance, higher education, electricity and culture, as well as the chairman of the Investment Authority, held a joint round of talks with their Kuwaiti counterparts today to discuss joint issues.[/rtl]
    [rtl]Sabah al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah's visit is the first in seven years when he visited Baghdad to participate in the Arab summit at its 23rd regular session in 2012.[/rtl]
    [rtl]The morning visit to Baghdad comes about one month after Iraqi Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi's first visit to Kuwait.[/rtl]
