[size=18]"There are signs and suspicions of corruption in the office of the former minister of justice," said a member of the coalition, who is behind the Mafayat controlling the ministry's work contracts, stressing the importance of excluding all those found to be involved in corruption.

Al-Mamouri said in a statement received by Alsumaria News: "We extend our congratulations and congratulations to the new Minister of Justice Farouk Shwani on the occasion of assuming his duties after receiving the confidence of members of the House of Representatives." He expressed his hope to run the ministry independently and professionally.

He added that "there are signs and suspicions of corruption in the office of the former minister behind which Mafayat controls the work contracts of the Ministry of Justice," stressing that "the need to deal firmly and hardness with any suspicion or a reference to corruption in the Ministry of Justice."

He called on the Minister of Justice to "cleanse his office of suspicions of corruption hovering around the workers," stressing the "importance of benefiting from the competent people and attract them and the exclusion of all those who prove his involvement in corruption."

The House of Representatives voted on Tuesday (June 25, 2019), granting confidence to Farouk Amin as Minister of Justice.
