Vice President of the Committee on Foreign Relations Parliamentary, Zafer al-Ani, on Thursday, the quotas of political blocs in the lists of candidates for new ambassadors, among that among the 70 candidates will be the political blocs 35.
Al-Ani said in a statement to the National News Center NNC that "the names of candidates for ambassadors within the quota of political blocs, which equates to 35 candidates out of 70," noting that "the Committee on Foreign Relations began receiving candidates until June 30."
He pointed out that "the formula used in the distribution will be for every ten deputies as ambassador," explaining that "the right of the political blocs to nominate more than one name to choose the best among them through professional interviews."
"The committee will have an observer with the competent committee that tests candidates in the foreign ministry," he said.
It is noteworthy that most of the political blocs, announced their waiver of their shares of special grades, and it was agreed to remove the political consensus on positions.
